Academics
The school offers a traditional, teacher-directed program that is highly academic. Our curriculum includes a full range of educational activities in grades K-12. We use a variety of textbooks and materials selected by the faculty to best meet the unique needs of Gramercy students in accordance with the school’s distinctive purpose. Bible is taught on all grade levels in line with the Statement of Faith. Biblical principles and concepts are integrated into all areas of learning in order to promote a spiritually healthy balance of knowledge and practical application.
PURPOSE:
It is the purpose of Gramercy Christian School to teach, disciple, correct, and train children in right living, in accordance with God’s Word, to the end that they may be “adequately equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16,17). The purpose of Christian education is to nurture the child to glorify, worship, and serve his Savior and Creator. We do not want to simply add Bible reading and prayer to the classroom. We are devoted to seeing that the core curriculum reflects Christian principles.
